Trophy Fish Caught
Real-time local conditions are lining up perfectly, with our recent Pensacola fishing reports highlighting massive success across our coastal flats and structural lights. Anglers are currently landing impressive trophy fish, including heavy bull Redfish, hard-fighting Black Drum, and large Speckled Trout. While Northwest Florida is known for classic estuary species rather than colorful coral reef varieties, the warm summer currents bring an incredible diversity of fast-moving, sub-tropical fish into our bays. If you are looking to target specific, photo-worthy species or break a personal record, now is the perfect time to book your spot on the water.
Family-Friendly Fishing Adventures
We specialize in providing safe, relaxed, and highly memorable family-friendly fishing trips tailored for all ages and experience levels. Captain Jamie’s patient teaching style ensures that kids and beginners feel completely at ease while learning how to cast, hook, and reel in their catches. Our private inshore trips navigate calm, protected bay waters to prevent motion sickness, and we supply all necessary safety gear, custom light tackle, and licenses. It is an easygoing, fun day on the water designed to keep the lines moving and create lasting memories together.
Fishing Year-Round in Pensacola & Milton
Our local bays and rivers offer incredible opportunities for fishing year-round, making our charters a reliable choice no matter the season. The spring and summer months deliver blistering action for slot Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout, while the cooling water temperatures of fall and winter bring massive bull reds and heavy Sheepshead onto the local structures. Because we operate across multiple local bodies of water, we can constantly adapt to changing seasonal patterns and real-time conditions to put you exactly where the bite is strongest.

Reel in the Night: Milton's Redfish Bonanza Awaits!
One for the books today! I took Albert out for a 4-hour inshore night trip with Addicted to Scales & Tail Charters in Milton, FL. As summer settled in, we set off at dusk, ready to make the most of the evening bite. The weather played along, with partly cloudy skies throughout our outing, though we did get a bit of rain. We launched from Avalon, eager to see what the waters had in store for us.
Once the stage was set, we got down to business. I mixed up our approach, using a combination of bottom fishing, trolling, and live bait fishing to cover our bases. The redfish were our main target, and we managed to hook into some nice ones. Albert landed a solid 15-inch redfish, which put up a good fight. While we didn't land any monsters, the consistent action kept things interesting throughout the night. We wrapped up the trip with smiles all around, satisfied with our catch and the overall experience.

Discover Inshore Excitement on Milton's Prime Fishing Grounds!
One for the books today! I took David and their crew out for a 4-hour inshore trip with Addicted to Scales & Tail Charters in Milton, FL. We kicked off our summer adventure early in the day, launching from Avalon with clear skies overhead. The water was looking prime for some action as we set out. It's always a treat to get folks out on these waters, especially when the conditions are as good as they were. Addicted to Scales & Tail Charters aims to provide the best experience, and today was shaping up to be just that.
Once the stage was set, we got down to business, employing inshore fishing techniques. The versatility of these methods really shines in our local waters. We worked the area thoroughly, keeping an eye out for any signs of redfish activity. Our persistence paid off when we managed to land a nice 20-inch redfish. It might not have been a monster, but it was a solid catch that got everyone's blood pumping. We kept at it, hoping to add a few more to our tally, but sometimes that's just how fishing goes. Even with the afternoon rain rolling in, we made the most of every cast and every minute on the water.
We wrapped up the trip with smiles all around, despite not landing a trophy-sized catch. That's the beauty of fishing – it's not always about the size or number of fish, but the experience of being out there. The crew seemed to enjoy the variety of techniques we used, and I was glad to show them some of the prime spots around Milton.
