Pensacola Fishing Reports 2

Inshore & Night Fishing Specialist

Trophy Fish Caught

Real-time local conditions are lining up perfectly, with our recent Pensacola fishing reports highlighting massive success across our coastal flats and structural lights. Anglers are currently landing impressive trophy fish, including heavy bull Redfish, hard-fighting Black Drum, and large Speckled Trout. While Northwest Florida is known for classic estuary species rather than colorful coral reef varieties, the warm summer currents bring an incredible diversity of fast-moving, sub-tropical fish into our bays. If you are looking to target specific, photo-worthy species or break a personal record, now is the perfect time to book your spot on the water.

Family-Friendly Fishing Adventures

We specialize in providing safe, relaxed, and highly memorable family-friendly fishing trips tailored for all ages and experience levels. Captain Jamie’s patient teaching style ensures that kids and beginners feel completely at ease while learning how to cast, hook, and reel in their catches. Our private inshore trips navigate calm, protected bay waters to prevent motion sickness, and we supply all necessary safety gear, custom light tackle, and licenses. It is an easygoing, fun day on the water designed to keep the lines moving and create lasting memories together.

Fishing Year-Round in Pensacola & Milton

Our local bays and rivers offer incredible opportunities for fishing year-round, making our charters a reliable choice no matter the season. The spring and summer months deliver blistering action for slot Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, and Speckled Trout, while the cooling water temperatures of fall and winter bring massive bull reds and heavy Sheepshead onto the local structures. Because we operate across multiple local bodies of water, we can constantly adapt to changing seasonal patterns and real-time conditions to put you exactly where the bite is strongest.

Chasing Inshore Legends: A Redfish and Trout Fishing Escapade to Savor

What an awesome 3 day trip on the water with Scott out in Milton, Florida! The weather was a bit iffy early on, with some light rain, but it cleared up nicely and we ended up having a great time chasing Spotted Seatrout and Redfish (Red Drum) on our 4 Hour Trip – Inshore (Day) with Addicted to Scales & Tail Charters.

March is a prime time for inshore fishing around these parts, with the warming waters bringing the fish up and actively feeding. We started off slow, working some shallow flats with jigs and fly gear, but it didn't take long before the action picked up. Scott made a perfect cast, and his line went screaming as he hooked into a feisty Redfish. That fish made some great runs, but he kept his cool and landed it like a pro. We switched up tactics, trying some heavier tackle in deeper pockets, and it paid off – he boated a nice fat Spotted Seatrout that put up one heck of a fight.

The bite stayed steady throughout the day, and we managed to get into a few more quality fish. In between catches, we just enjoyed being out on the water, taking in the Avalon scenery and having some good laughs. That's what makes these inshore trips so much fun – the constant action, the beautiful surroundings, and getting to share it all with a fellow angler.

If you're looking to experience the best inshore fishing Milton, Florida has to offer, be sure to book your 4 Hour Trip – Inshore (Day) with Addicted to Scales & Tail Charters. Whether you're an experienced angler hunting Redfish and Spotted Seatrout, or a newcomer wanting to get in on the thrill of landing your own catch, we'll make sure you have an unforgettable time out on the water. From the moment you step onboard to the final cast, it's an adventure you won't soon forget. So what are you waiting for? Book your trip today and let's get out there!

What an awesome day out on Pensacola Bay! We had a great group of anglers join us for a 6 Hour Trip – Inshore (Day) with Addicted to Scales & Tail Charters. March is a prime time to target inshore species like Redfish (Red Drum) around here, as the warming waters have the fish actively feeding and on the move. We met up at our launch spot in Milton, FL right at 8am and wasted no time getting lines in the water. The day started off with some jigging action, and it didn't take long before one of our anglers hooked up with a nice Redfish. After a solid fight, we got it in the boat and snapped a few photos. The bite stayed steady throughout the morning, with the crew picking up a few more Reds using a mix of techniques - jigging, fly fishing, heavy tackle, and light tackle. The water clarity was great, making it easy to spot baitfish and watch the fish strike our offerings. Between catching fish, we had a blast just being out on the water and taking in the Pensacola Bay scenery. Inshore Angling Excursion Delivers Non-Stop Action and Unforgettable Memories!

March is a prime time for inshore fishing in this area, with the warming waters bringing the Spotted Seatrout and Redfish (Red Drum) shallow and hungry.
